RV Expenses
It is a good idea to make an RV budget and then monitor it for several months. By doing this you will be able to calculate your expenses and make a solid expenditure plan.
When you begin the RV budget planning process keep detailed records of everything. Even laundry expenses and snacks should be written down so you will have a concise picture of what this is all going to cost. After you have kept track of all the expenses for several months you are ready to make a real RV budget plan. Have a list of both budget items such as campground fees and fuel as well as a discretionary expense list for RV expenses such as recreation, cell phone fees and storage.
After monitoring
both lists for awhile you will be able to make adjustments where
necessary. Often you may need to move some of the miscellaneous
items to the actual budget list rather than leaving them on the
discretionary list. When making the RV basic expense budget be sure
to consider these areas: campground fees, gas, clothing, groceries,
repairs and maintenance, insurance and license fees, propane,
medical expenditures. Discretionary items might include recreation,
a telephone answering service, cell phone, memberships for
campgrounds, storage, gifts and contributions,
